Animal Welfare

Looking after our animals at every stage of their life, from the food they eat to the fields they call home.​

  • ​Beef - Raised on our farm with grass & feed from our organic fields. Fully stunned & checked at our local abattoir.

  • Lamb - Grass-fed on local Northumberland farms, with some finished on our fields. Fully stunned & checked at our local abattoir.

  • Pork - Anna’s Happy Trotters pigs are reared free-range to high welfare standards. Electrically stunned at a family-run abattoir.

  • Herb Fed Chicken - Reared free-range with access to the outdoors. Electrically stunned at the abattoir, without CO₂.
